What do Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Aniston have in common? Besides big names, deep pockets and legions of fans—they’ve now both called this lavish mansion, in California’s coveted coastal enclave of Montecito, home.

The mononymous TV host sold the spread for $14.75 million to the TV and movie darling in an off-market deal made at the end of last month, property records show.

Because of the hush-hush nature of the deal, information about the property is not widely available.

Past listing information paints a picture of a Tuscan-style farmhouse built in the late 1990s with four bedrooms, 4,320 square feet of living space and sitting on roughly an acre of grounds.

Ms. Winfrey, 68, hadn’t owned the property long before trading it in. She paid $10.48 million for the spread in January 2021, using an entity linked to her network, records show.

In turn, Ms. Aniston, 53, used a trust named after her late dog, Dolly, tied to an entity of which she is manager.

Representatives for the two did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

It’s no secret that Montecito is beloved by celebrities and royalty alike. Its reported residents include Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Ariana Grande and Gwyneth Paltrow, and Oprah remains in the neighborhood, with a palace-like property she calls home.

Dirt first reported the sale.
